BREAKING NEWS - DOT returns to once-a-year event

In response to industry demand for a single Deep Offshore Technology (DOT) global event, PennWell has announced that it is consolidating its DOT International and DOT Americas into a combined, once-a-year event. The decision to return to a single DOT as the worldwide industry forum was announced by Mark Peters, Vice-President PennWell.

The return to DOT International as one yearly event begins with DOT International in Amsterdam Nov. 30 to Dec. 2, 2010.

The decision to return to one DOT is in response to the wishes of the industry, both vendors and operators. It will allow DOT International to bring leading-edge technology to the deepwater industry in a single setting each year, and will restore DOT to its historic position as the pre-eminent deepwater event worldwide.

As the search for the hydrocarbon resources that are needed by the world continues to move further offshore and in to deeper waters around the world, the consolidated DOT International will be, as it has been for 30 years, the leading conference, exhibition, and networking meeting worldwide for this exciting industry. This consolidation will allow operators and vendors a single location to aid in the development of deepwater solutions and technology.
